Who we are

What we collect
Your financial figures: nothing. Everything you type into the calculator is processed entirely within your browser. There is no account to create, no form that submits anywhere, and no server that receives your numbers.
If you choose to save your profile, it is written to your browser's local storage on that device. Local storage persists until you clear your browsing data — it does not expire when you close the tab, and it does not transfer between devices. You can remove it at any time using the Clear button in the tool, or by clearing your browser data.
Technical data: we use Google Analytics to collect anonymised information about how the site is used, such as browser type and which pages are visited. This does not identify you and is not linked to anything you enter in the calculator.
Advertising
We display adverts through Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to show adverts that are relevant to you. You can opt out at google.com/settings/ads.
Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the right to access, correct or delete personal data held about you, and to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
In practice most of these rights have little to apply to here, because we do not hold your financial data — it never leaves your device. The anonymised analytics data we do receive is handled by Google under its own terms.

Our site links to external organisations including Unbiased, VouchedFor, MoneyHelper and Pension Wise. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and you should read their own policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised date at the top.
